day seventeen- your idol and why you look up to them
I guess I look up to a lot of people for different.
my brother has that personality where people just want to be around him and that’s amazing and it seems so flawless for him. my mom and dad have/had a great sense of determination and like they went far and are/were so smart. my sister’s randomly one of the smartest, like intelligent people I know, she knows like EVERYTHING or at least acts like it without being douchey, i had great teachers in highschool with this great sense of passion that radiated from them as they spoke and that was outstanding, i wish i could be like that
i guess within everyone, there’s something I idolize about them and wish I had in myself. there’s no one set idol who seems perfect to me, ya know?

factsaboutcesar asked: 12.
5 things i like and 5 i dislike
well. easy!
5 things I like about myself
- my determination and dedication. when i commit to something, it’s always 100%
- my outgoing-ness. whatever it’s called; it’s not super amazing but I think I’ve come a long ways
- My giggly nature. I think that me laughing at stupid things just tends to make life more interesting
- my scars. especially the one on my knee from surgery, i like that it’s there and it’s BAM right out there. I like that if I’m ever feeling super sad or out of it, that i can look at my six inch scar and be like ‘if i could make it through that big mess with a smile on my face; i can make it out through anything’
- my personality. i mean this is going to sound but conceited, but if i were a person, i’d wanna hang out with me, lolol
5 things i dislike about myself
- lets start with the obvious. I’m not in the best physical condition because I’ve gotten worn out and lazy
- my sleep habits. sleeping around 2-4 every morning is just plain stupid
- i’m really stubborn. and sometimes that turns into determination and other times it makes me a pain in the ass
- i have a really big issue communicating with people i care about or cared about when i’m mad/hurt. i tend to go silent and become more introverted rather than come out and say it
- i either care too much or i don’t care enough. for me, most times, it seems there isn’t an inbetween; so it leads to getting walked all over or forgotten about. there’s just no middle ground.

54% sociable, adventurous, outgoing, energetic
50% sympathetic, modest, compliant, forgiving
33% efficient, organized, thorough, self-disciplined
63% curious, unconventional, imaginative, artistic
You surf on life, enjoying the best bits. You’re curious and like to meet new people, as well as learning about the human mind. You search for new experiences and adventures and love to share them with friends. You’re creative and approach challenges in a broad way. Spontaneity and diversity guide your actions, which makes it difficult for you to focus and commit.

The meeting of two personalities is like the contact of two chemical substances: if there is any reaction, both are transformed.

Quiet and very self-assured, you tend to keep your own council. Pragmatic and practical to a fault, you are not one to worry about the finer points of philosophical discourse. In fact, because you are very much an individualist, you often finds yourself at odds with the established truth or the wishes of the majority. You will often earn the wrath of an employer by taking upon yourself decisions which are rightly those of your manager. You are not one to take credit unless it is deserved. Similarly however, you will also not happily give credit where it is not due. In a romantic relationship you can be very frustrating. While you do care deeply and sincerely, and are willing to work at a relationship, your confidence in your own abilities can on occasion make it difficult to see the world from a partner’s point of view. Quiet and stoic at times, you can drive a more emotional individual completely up the wall. You can become overstressed and fatigued without knowing it. Taking time to rest between bouts of hard work can help to prevent a breakdown later on.

Now we’re going to put the puzzle pieces together. Let’s say that the results of your Snapshot show that you are an “NF.” Using the trait words, we see that two qualities combine to form your temperament: dreaming and sympathy (again, there are other words that apply, but we’re going to use these). For the curious technical crowd, that’s a combination of iNtuition and Feeling. The designation for “NF” is Idealist.
At the core of their beings, Idealists seek meaning and significance in all that they do and maintain a lifelong quest for a unique identity. Their values include an instinctive and high regard for ethics and morality, authenticity, cooperative interaction, unity, and personal relationships. Some of their unique roles and abilities include that of the Romantic idealist, facilitator, counselor, diplomat, catalyst, and mentor.
If you observe them closely, you’ll see them display such behaviors as imagination, empathy, praise, warm-heartedness, and spirituality. They are relationship oriented, use metaphorical language, have vivid imaginations, and can become deeply involved in whatever they’re doing.
…
Most popular careers for the Idealist (NF)
Teachers of music, art, and drama; writers; priests; physicians; psychologists; vocational and educational counselors; educational consultants; journalists; social workers; musicians and composers; editors and reporters; speech pathologists; designers; and high school teachers. Some famous Idealists: Joan of Arc, Ghandi, Martin Luther King, and William Shakespeare.
Least popular careers for the Idealist (NF)
Police and detectives; farmers; sales managers; steelworkers; factory supervisors; service workers; bank officers; financial managers; chemical engineers; computer systems analysts; corrections officers; electronic technicians; mathematics teachers; auditors; credit investigators; and real estate agents and brokers.
