is that a horrible thing to do?

it’s just, I realize, hey i dont know them well enough to say happy birthday without it being awkward/it would be really awkward if i saw them and said happy birthday, so then im like okay i should delete them but if i dont do it in the moment then i forget so i just do it but then it is their birthday so i do feel kinda bad.

at least on tumblr i just unfollow people when I realize they post annoying shit and/or just generally anger me, but thats more rare.

to have somewhere to voice my true thoughts without being judged

sadly it turned into a place to keep a record of who I once was…it doesn’t always have my true thoughts anymore and I think before I post, which also sucks

How have you been? Enjoying school? Summer? Anything? 

As for me, if you have kept update on some of my random text posts then you would know that college is the next big adventure for me. I’m ecstatic about moving in on Sunday at 3:30pm, I wished it was Saturday rather than the day after. But beggars can’t be choosers. 

Hopefully I will have time to go on Tumblr and randomly reblog things that I find interesting and funny, as well as update you on my life whether you like it or not because in the end…it’s my tumblog.

like if i wanted to see your tumblr, I’d follow you with my own. If your tumblr sucks, there’s a reason I’m not following you so I’d rather not see your posts on my newsfeed. If your tumblr is awesome, seeing it twice on my newsfeed/dashboard won’t make it any more awesome.

i just went through my archive, haha, i made this tumblr junior year of highschool and for a while it was filled of annoying hipster-ish shit so a lot got deleted when there was the “uplifting change”

there’s the quotes, the depression, the uplifting change, the ideas, the depression, the scary truth, the realistic pessimism, the one tumblr post that made me cry, the anger that never really ended, the pals, and the college decision 

(I felt like I needed to end it happily, haha) 

but wow. i like that i can go through my archive and remember what i was doing, what was running through my head and in some sense, relive it all again through the old posts

dunno if this is much better than nights being spent on tumblr and stumbleupon

and then i could say what’s really on my mind?

but then i feel bad because logically i shouldn’t be more comfortable telling strangers my true thoughts compared to friends
